After an initial on site consultation the first brief was for a double storey extension & renovation of large proportions, however after consultation with real estate agents it was decided that resale value meant a new approach was required. The amended design brief was for a 4 bedroom home with large living areas, home theatre, new double garage & new landscaping to front & rear yards.
Budget was not a concern with the end result being about grandeur & sophistication for the purposes of resale value over architectural design & good design practice. Then end result is a grand stately home with large open living areas, high quality finishes, immaculate landscaping & interior finishes as well as a basement area containing a study, home theatre & cellar not easily visible when you initially enter the home. Access to the garage is also made through the side wall of the theatre room thus enabling the residents of this home to have complete security when arriving home from weather.
Upon arriving at the home you are able to see the front doorway peeking over the top of the solid front fence containing a covered security entry porch, which in turn leads through a majestic rock garden & up into the front porch where you are greeted by a solid timber door. Once entering into the home the grandeur continues with a secluded private lounge tucked to the left of the entry & the master suite to the right containing the ensuite & a custom fitted walk-in-robe.
Continuing along the main hall to the left are the second & third bedrooms & the master bathroom, to the right is the fourth bedroom. Upon reaching the fourth bedroom you are greeted by large carpeted stairs which lead down into the 4.5m high ceiling of the kitchen/living area which contains wall to wall
